Configurazione 1720 ADSL + Alice 7 Mega +PPPoE

Buona sera a complimenti a tutti partecipanti a questo forum per la loro disponibilità e professionalità.
Sono stato fino ad adesso un felice possessore di un router Cisco 827H, da me configurato con CRWS (tool web della Cisco che funziona solo con alcuni modelli) ho deciso di acquistare su Ebay un Cisco 1720 con Wic ADSL e ISDN.
Ho letto attentamente svariati post riguardo la configurazione del 1720 ed ho creato la mia configurazione, che naturalmente non funziona.
Ho letto sui forum altresì che la mia Alice 7 mega ADSL usa il protocollo PPPoE (confermato dalla configurazione del 827H).
Non riesco a navigare, ho provato in tantssimi modi, ma niente da fare.
Allego la configurazione attuale.

grazie per il consiglio, questa era la configurazione che avevo provato in precedenza PPPoA ma non funzionava, l'assistenza tecnica telecom mi ha confermato che Alice 7 Mega usa il protocollo PPPoE.
Infatti nel mio 827H la configurazione fatta è per un client PPPoE.
Provo ad aggiungere le righe da te gentilmente consigliate e farò sapere.

eccomi di nuovo.
Ho contattato la telecom e mi hanno confermato che la mia lice adsl 7 mega residenziale, con ip dinamico, va in pppoe.
Ho inserito la configurazione relativa ll'interfaccia ATM0 come suggerito nel post, ma niente da fare.
In particolare wuando cerco di impostare il protocollo pppoe nellATM0, il router mi da un messaggio di errore, per il pppoe mi fa solo configurare il numero di sessione e non l'enable.
La mia release è la 12.4 - 18
Allego tutta l amia configurazione.

Il problema è che non riesco a configurare il 1720.
Sto ancora studiando. Ma sono fiducioso.
