non l'ho visto neppure funzionare

Comunque la frettolosità di certo non ti aiuta: devi studiarci sopra un pochino, altrimenti non arrivi a nulla. Non puoi pretendere di fare il copia e incolla delle configurazioni che trovi in giro e sperare che funzionino: devi sempre fare qualche adattamento!
Se invece non hai tempo da perdere prenditi un D-Link con interfaccia web e fai presto.
